You’ll be scribbling, looping, and flourishing your way to gorgeous DIY Christmas cards, gift tags, or even wedding stationery that screams personal touch. Think of it as part festive craft, part creative therapy, and 100% guaranteed fun with ink, paper, and a dash of festive magic. On arrival, you’ll receive your very own calligraphy starter kit, including a Speedball straight pen holder, nib, ink, a small drawstring bag to keep your kit in and worksheets to use during the session — and to take home to continue practicing your craft. Katy from Olive & Millicent will guide you step by step, covering: The basic calligraphy strokes and alphabet How to join letters to form words Simple flourishes to elevate your writing This workshop is relaxed and hands-on, with refreshments included, so you can focus on enjoying your creative time without any pressure. Calligraphy can be a bit messy, so dress accordingly! About your tutor, Katy: Katy is the founder of Olive & Millicent, inspired by generations of talented artists in her family. A lover of all things botanical, she combines hand-painted watercolours with her modern calligraphy style, making each session a delightful mix of creativity and inspiration. We can offer you a transfer to another workshop (with same value) or a gift voucher to use on a future date. Payments for workshops/classes are generally non-refundable. We liken it to buying a theatre ticket. Some of the work has taken place ahead of the actual session and the flowers, which are perishable / materials to be used have been purchased.
