Hosted by Floral Barn Studio, this peaceful flower pressing workshop is all about preserving the beauty of the season and turning delicate blooms into lasting pieces of floral art. You’ll learn the traditional art of flower pressing, including which flowers work best, how to press and preserve them successfully at home, and how to care for your pressed flowers once dried. There’ll be plenty of opportunity to get hands-on, experiment with seasonal materials, and enjoy the mindful process of working slowly and creatively with nature. Using a beautiful selection of pre-pressed flowers, you’ll then create your own framed floral artwork and decorative floral pieces to take home with you — perfect for displaying, gifting, or simply enjoying long after the workshop has finished. This workshop is ideal for anyone who loves flowers, crafting, gardening, or simply carving out a couple of hours to do something calm and creative for themselves. No experience is needed.
