Two-in-One Willow & Flower Workshop

Service Description

We’ve teamed up with the wonderful Meg’s Meadow to create a two-in-one willow & flower Workshop creative experience, where you’ll spend the evening learning not one, but two beautiful crafts – and leave with a finished piece you’ll enjoy long after the flowers have faded. The first part of the session is dedicated to willow weaving. With Meg’s expert guidance, you’ll create your own handcrafted woven willow vase, complete with a glass insert ready to hold fresh flowers. It’s mindful, satisfying experience where you'll make something from scratch and end up with a fab vessel that's beautiful and usable. Then, with your woven willow vase complete, the Bedfordshire Flower School team will show you how to bring it to life with a natural, seasonal flower arrangement. Using fresh blooms and foliage, you’ll learn how to create a design that complements your handmade vessel and celebrates the best of the season. The best bit? You’re not just taking home a flower arrangement – you’re taking home a beautiful woven vase that you can refill again and again throughout the year. Whether it’s flowers from your garden, a bunch from our sister company The Flower Mill or stems from a local flower farm, you’ll have the skills and confidence to style it for every season. It’s creative, hands-on and a little different from anything else we offer – the perfect evening for anyone who loves making, flowers and coming away with something they’re genuinely proud of. Tuesday 18th August | 6:00pm – 8:00pm £70 per person Includes all materials, expert tuition from both tutors, seasonal flowers and light refreshments. No previous experience needed.
