More time on your hands? Enjoy your Garden

So I have found myself with a lot more time on my hands then usual, which I am sure most of you have, due to this virus

I try and find a silver lining in every cloud, so for now I am busying myself with looking to the future, planning more workshops, courses and craft classes.

I have also decided this is a good time to start writing some short blogs, for anyone interested in the floristry world or any arts and crafts.

Hoping to have some guest writers on here as well.

I am very much missing flowers and meeting all you lovely lot!

BUT, we have all got to stay positive in these uncertain times, so as you would have seen if you follow me on Social Media accounts, I have also been out and about in the garden.

Having the time in the garden inspired me to make use of the resources I have in my home.

I created these simple but effective jam jar arrangements from spring blooms I picked from the garden.

All you need is:

*Jam Jar

*Seasonal flowers and foliage

*Some string

*Scissors

Flowers you should find in season in April are Tulips, Iris, Tree Blossom, Muscari (Grape Hyacinth), Helleborus and mixed seasonal foliages.

Once we are back to 'normal' maybe you would like to join us on one of our workshops?

Our floral workshops are the best introduction to the flower arranging world. Each workshop includes a step by step demonstration, using the best flowers available the season has to offer.

Pick up top tips on how to get the best out of your blooms and why its the best to buy flowers in their natural season

Hopefully with the weather warming up over the weekend, you can get out in your gardens, enjoy them and make some lovely arrangements.

Take Care and Stay Safe
